Meet Phoebe Dragonsong!
By day a top ranked Kaiju hunter, but by night a rockstar of epic proportions. Phoebe Dragonsong is a one of a kind individual, sporting a dragon like appearance that many assume is a peculiar mutation. Not much is known of her origins, but when you protect and rock Mt. City the way she does not of that truly matters.
Yet another child growing up in Mt. City without parents, she is an orphan of circumstance. A young Phoebe found sanctuary in music. Growing up on the Streets of Southern Mt. City she took comfort in the many buskers and entertainers that populate the streets and plazas of the city.
Phoebe eventually was adopted and taken under the wing of a traveling troupe of entertainers. As a girl she was both a great dancer and acrobat who attracted attention quite easily making her a precious center piece to her new family’s traveling show. However, when she began to show talent with instruments Phoebe’s involvement shifted. She still attracted crowds, but her music and stage performance drew larger and larger audiences.
Phoebe grew to large in popularity for the streets and plazas and began performing concerts for the masses of Mt. City in stadiums and arenas.
One night during one of her performances she tapped into latent power she did not know she possessed. Phoebe, with no idea how, she began to conjure constructs made of lightning through her music. Though incredibly dangerous her audience erupted in cheers believing it to be all part of the show.
With great control over this new found ability Phoebe continued to Rock n Roll her way to greatness through adoration and reverence. Till one show her music attracted the unwanted attention of Amplicat, a powerful feline Kaiju.
Amplicat attacked the arena concert sending the patrons into a frenzy. Many would flee in a panic, but Phoebe stood her ground realizing the Kaiju was after her sound. Feeding off of it as if a meal served to it on a silver platter. Phoebe decided to perform her last song in the efforts of allowing her fans to flee to safety.
It was in this moment Phoebe discovered how powerful her music and ability actually were. During this ‘final’ performance she used her guitar to combat Amplicat. Though the sound gave Amplicat strength it gave Phoebe strength as well. By the time Kaiju Hunters made it to the scene they witnessed the most beautiful display of Kaiju combat any of them have ever seen.
Once the Amplicat had gorged itself on the sound of her music Phoebe conjured a lightning dragon with her final chord of her song. This dragon struck the Amplicat with such an impact that the sound resonated through all of Mt. City. The Kaiju was defeated, and on no less than one of the greatest stages. Many witnessed this feat and there were none that could dispute Phoebe’s great performance.
Once an orphan of Mt. City, Phoebe was now celebrated as a hero. She was made into a licensed Kaiju Hunter shortly after by Kaiju Corp. on the condition she could continue her profession as a musical performer.
She now melts the faces of her fans and Kaiju alike.
