When threatened or attacked they combine certain chemicals in their tail or thorax to detonate and explode. They are luckily a dime a dozen, and most creatures of NomNom are aware of their dangerous nature. So for the most part they run free without being bothered or threatened. However, if you don’t watch where you step it could be your last!
